Top-5 weekly growth leaders

Helium (HNT). The token showed steady growth from Q4 2023 to Q1 2024. As a result, the price action climbed from a low of $1.36 to a high of $11.16. The peak led to profit-taking by investors, which ushered in a bearish downtrend after March 2024. Since then, the token has been losing value. The resurgence of interest in HNT last week signaled growing interest from investors who view Helium as a standalone asset, rather than just a bitcoin follower.

THORChain (RUNE). Notably, RUNE’s 7-day 15% run-up to $3.78 made it one of the top altcoin outperformers for the week. This came as no surprise to many seasoned investors. THORChain's recent partnership with Kujira, which saw the implementation of SwapKit and Noble integration, simplifying asset operations. According to analysts, the token could rally as high as 400% by year-end if RUNE manages to break past key resistance levels at $5 and $7.

Aave (AAVE). The recent rally is underpinned by technical factors. The asset breached a key resistance level, after which the uptrend continued to gain traction. However, going forward, this does not guarantee that the rally still has legs.

Klaytn (KLAY). The cryptocurrency locked in solid gains on the back of news about the imminent launch of the Kaia Blockchain mainnet, which is scheduled for August 29. Several days ago, project representatives announced the registration of the Kaia DLT Foundation in the Dubai International Financial Center and the Abu Dhabi Global Market.

Fantom (FTM). The altcoin spiked upward amid increased trading volumes. Despite a big bull run in recent days, more than 70% of Fantom holders still remain in the red.
